PSAD Adds Printmaking Studio

PSAD is proud to have added a new studio and equipment within the 2D and Graphic Design Building to support screenprinting and intaglio programs. Studio equipment includes a Takach 2648 floor mount etching press, an Accu-glide Serigraphic Press, and NuArc combination screen and plate exposure unit, along with a full array of oversize rollers and other needs. The studio opened with Community Education classes in Fall 2017 and provided tuition waivers for regional high school students to study screenprinting with PSAD adjunct instructor Erich Neitzke. Intaglio classes with Michael Crouse, retired professor emeritus, University of Alabama-Huntsville, begin November 4. For a full schedule on these and other PSAD Community Education programs, please visit http/ws.kctcs.edu/westkentucky. Then select Paducah School of Art and Design.
