National Hispanic Heritage Month

Paducah School of Art and Design is pleased to participate in National Hispanic Heritage Month by presenting Old World Spain and New World Cuba. The exhibition features a selection of photographs taken by PSAD drawing professor Randy Simmons in Span this past Summer and by PSAD student Phyllis Russel, taken during a West Kentucky Community and Technical College trip to Cuba earlier this year. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with WKCTC’s Diversity Committee and seeks to promote inclusion and a knowledge and respect for others. It accompanies Australia Wide Five, an AQS QuiltWeek sanctioned quilt exhibition in the Bill Ford Gallery within PSAD’s 2D and Graphic Design Building at 905 Harrison Street. The exhibition opens with a reception event from 5-7 pm, September 14, 2017 and is free and open to the public.
