Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) is pleased to announce that artist Lily Liu is our new community education and public programs coordinator, a part-time position assisting with the development and presentation of community-based activities serving the region. These include expansion of our community education programs and services for children and youth. Lily will also be teaching a new community education class Introduction to Fiber Arts beginning in October. Click on Classes and then Community Education in the menu bar above to view a full listing of summer and fall  offerings.

With PSAD’s new 2D and Graphic Design building complete, West Kentucky Community and Technical College president Dr. Barbara Veazey has committed to maximizing the building’s value for the community and to fulfilling PSAD’s role as a community resource and economic driver. Lily Liu’s position will expand our role in the community and support the City’s economic development plans as presented recently by Avalanche, a nationally acclaimed consultancy firm that advocates and recognizes the role of the arts in Paducah’s development.
